Mohlomi
was an extremely intelligent but also wise man. He loved to discuss the truth
and topics of wisdom with all the people he would meet. These included men, women
and children.
A few of
his basic questions where:
- Where does the universe begin and where does it end?
- What is life?
- How is life created?
5 of his
philosophical statements:
- There is One creator, who created all.
- The soul of men is immortal.
- Conscience is the faithful monitor of man. She invariably shows him his duty. This inward guide takes us under her guidance when we leave the womb and she accompanies us to the entrance of the tomb.
- Love and you will be loved.
- ‘Peace is my sister’ – I should look after her, protect her and cherish her. Hate and you will be hated. So disband your fighting units, sent them home to look after their wives, children and Cando
Fascinating
was that Mohlomi, did not only talk about this, but also lived it out, all his
life.
He took
care of his own people and land, but also travelled through many areas of South
Africa. He walked more than 10.000 miles, just with a stick, a calabash of
water and a few unarmed men.
On his
frequent travels he studied all the different languages and cultures that he would
engage upon. He visited tribes in:
- Kwa Zulu Natal
- Limpopo
- Mpumalanga
- Transkei
- Northern Cape
- Botswana
- Zimbabwe
In doing
so, he declared all these tribes to be ‘his brothers and sisters’.
Where is Molhomi burried?
